While having my morning coffee, searching for a good message to feed my mind before diving back into the rigid structure and expectations of corporate career challenges, I came across this message. It's a great reminder that if I'm struggling with the (perceived) inflexibility of corporate america, and if I'm playing the same old "can't do anything about that" messages in my head, others in my company are likely doing the same. But we're wrong, we CAN do something about the challenges and stay in line with the corporate philosophy and direction. Simply talking about the challenges and setting ourselves, collectively and individually, on the path of generating ideas and solutions to keep us moving towards the life we WANT, is the first step to actually making a difference! Understanding what we want in our lives is (or certainly should be) the "why" of the goals we set, the job we have, and the decisions we make about how we spend our time! I loved this article. Just what I needed this morning.
